Now I think this bird is telling me to mind my own business!
This bird loves the suet recipe I mixed up and put on the birdfeeder. All these pictures are of the same type of bird and taken on the same day. I believe it is a Pine Warbler from what I read about the description of their song; but this bird so closely resembles the Yellow Throated Vireo in looks (at least according to my reference book) that I’m not positive.
One thing that was mentioned in my reference book, Birds of North America by Kenn Kaufman, is that the Pine Warbler male has blurry streaks running down it’s chest and you will notice in the picture above this bird does have these markings.
No matter which bird it is it loves eating wild bird seed from my birdfeeder while I enjoy bird watching from my desk. I even saw this bird on the Wildbird Wreath I made in November.
What type of bird do you think it is?

wow, that is a difficult call to make on which bird you have there! I am thinking I agree with you about the pine warbler, but I have read several places that the Yellow Throated Vireo has the eyeglasses, which your bird has. hmm, whaat a nice problem to have, a cool bird or a cool bird? Either way, you have one cool bird.

I painted a picture once of a pine warbler and it looks like it.
I need to find time to go through more of your blog. It’s been so long since I’ve been out in blog world enjoying other bird blogs.
